• Zillow iPhone App-V2:  Zillow has launched a new version of our iPhone app with new features, including push notifications, which takes advantage of the functionality of the iPhone OS 3.0.  The App V2 is now available in the iTunes store. It’s been two months since the Zillow iPhone App was first launched, and it’s been downloaded  more than 500,000 times. More Zillow iPhone App information on the Zillow Blog.
• Homeowner Confidence Survey: A majority of Americans (60%) believe their own home lost value during the past 12 months, according to the Zillow Q1 Homeowner Confidence Survey. In reality, 80% of homes across the country lost value. That resulted in a Zillow Home Value Misperception Index of five – the lowest it has been since Zillow introduced the index in the second quarter of 2008. • Real Estate Market Reports: Declining home values left more than one in five (21.9%) of all American homeowners with negative equity by the end of the first quarter. Home values posted a year-over-year decline of 14.2% to a Zillow Home Value Index of $182,378. This is the ninth consecutive quarter of home value declines. • Zillow iPhone App: Zillow has created its first iPhone app to satisfy the desire for real estate information exactly where people need it most – on location while scoping out homes. Using GPS technology, the Zillow iPhone App brings Zillow’s rich data on 88 million U.S. homes to the streets. The Zillow iPhone App is free to download, and available for both the iPhone and iPod touch in Apple’s App Store.
